Prof. Dr. Luise Pufahl

Professor Technical University of Munich
Luise visited the Process Management and Information Systems research group at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. At TUM, her research focuses on monitoring compliance with sustainability regulations, such as the EU taxonomy, through conformance checking. This work requires integrating event data from multiple sources, including both operational process events and quality assurance processes.
Together with SOURCED, Luise will apply her research and ideas to demonstrate how distributed event sources relevant to sustainability can be collected or generated, and how the resulting compliance information can be effectively visualized. Specifically, they aim to address the following research question: How can compliance checking results be visualized across distributed event sources?

Andrea Maldonado

Scientific Researcher Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich
Andrea visited the Chair of Business Informatics and Process Analytics at the University of Bayreuth from 11 November - 15 November. At the LMU, she is researching a framework for generating synthetic event logs. This primarily involves generating events with specific features and analyzing the connection between data features and method performance.
Andrea will work with SOURCED to use her research and ideas to generate event streams with realistic features. In particular, we want to answer the following question: “What are the data characteristics that present challenges in Stream Analytics for Process Mining?”
